A visual metaphor of life’s tides

This series of 50 miniature abstract beach paintings—each just 10x10 cm—was created as a deeply personal journey through the emotional landscapes of life. Painted in acrylic and completed in 2025, the collection unfolds in five stages, with 10 paintings in each phase.

From the warmth of a sunny, breezy day to the weight of crashing waves and shadowed nights, this project mirrors the rhythm of my own transformation—from carefree innocence to turbulent adulthood, through moments of darkness, healing, and eventual renewal. As the paintings move into the gentle light of dawn and toward peaceful, everyday joy, they reflect the cycles we all pass through: hope, fear, struggle, and peace.

Though small in size, each piece holds a fragment of that larger story—a reminder that nothing is permanent. Storms may come, but so will the sun. Life flows, repeats, evolves. And always, better days lie ahead.
