Macro Wing

Macro wings uses etching, a traditional intaglio printmaking technique in which an image is carved into a copper plate and printed onto paper.

The work focuses on the delicate beauty of butterfly wings — magnified to reveal their intricate patterns, fragile structure, and translucent, paper-thin textures. Through close observation, the series highlights both their quiet strength and their vulnerability.
