I’m Linh Hoai Vu, a contemporary fine artist from Vietnam.
I’ve been making art since I was a child. At first, it was just something I enjoyed more than anything else. Over time, it became a way to quiet my thoughts — a space where I could express what I couldn’t say out loud.
I studied fine art at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I began shaping the foundation of my current work.
My work is a reflection of my inner world: my experiences, emotions, and ideas. I paint to process and share those parts of myself — sometimes soft and subtle, sometimes intense. Lately, my palette has shifted toward deeper tones, especially blue, as I explore new transitions in both life and art.
I mostly work with acrylic and mixed media in an abstract form. The mood of each piece changes depending on how I’m feeling — some days are quiet, others loud.
Through my art, I hope people feel something — maybe something they’ve been through, or maybe just a sense of connection. It’s not always easy to explain, but painting lets me be vulnerable in a way words don’t.
Thank you for taking the time to be here. I hope my work speaks to you.
