THE 1/1 COLLECTION
The 1/1 Collection is the first NFT collection by Linh Hoai Vu. The 1/1 is a collection of 6 NFTs which correspond to 6 unique physical artworks which are stored securely in the US. The works will be available on the blockchain.

Starting with the creation of the physical artworks in 2019, The 1/1 explores the diversity of abstract art. You have to decide between the digital NFT or the physical artwork, both of which are artworks in their own right. Whichever you pick, the other gets burned.

The collection is on the Opensea blockchain, which is a platform for NFTs connected to Ethereum.
6 UNIQUE WORKS
Linh Hoai Vu abstract paintings focuses on figure grounding. The 1/1 evolved from exploration with the proportions, perspective, colors and textures appearing as diversing and competing with each other.

The 1/1 challenges the concept of value variety and differency. Each of the unique 6 hand painted works are launching as NFTs on the blockchain. Each artwork is uniquely titled. The titles are generated from the ideal within the art work.
CHOOSE YOUR ART
DECIDE BETWEEN THE DIGITAL NFT OR THE PHYSICAL ARTWORK
Each of the 6 unique NFTs corresponds to an original work on canvas by Linh Hoai Vu. The collector has to decide between the digital NFT or the physical artwork, but can not keep both. This exchange is a one-way process, so choose carefully.
Around two months after the NFTs are first distributed to successful applicants, collectors will get the opportunity to exchange the NFT for the physical artwork. You have 1 year from the purchase date to decide to keep either the digital NFT or the physical artwork. If you have not exchanged your NFT in that period, then the physical artwork will be destroyed. Similarly, if you have exchanged it in that period, the NFT will have been burned.
There will be an exhibition of the artworks before they are ultimately destroyed.
